Emily Flickwick (b.1990) has by far the most complicated birth story of any of the Flickwick children. It starts with the simple fact that Ramona and Duncan are not, actually, Emily’s biological parents. Her father is Duncan's youngest brother, Roan. However, at this point in her life she does not have much of a relationship with either of her biological parents, and has never questioned who her “real” parents are. As a former Ravenclaw she is extremely intelligent, less whimsical more logical and analytic. She likes understanding how things fit together. She excelled in all her classes naturally but her interest was most heavily invested in Ancient Runes, History of Magic, and Defense Against the Dark Arts. She was always aware that her natural ability in these subjects is vexed Sophie, who often felt overlooked in their large family. She tried to help as much as she could, but the two often bump heads because Sophie’s temper is quick and volatile while Emer is more sarcastic and acerbic with a dry wit that often takes a moment to catch up to her youngest sibling. Having recently graduated she signed on to a Year Out Adventure and is currently studying the Oracles of Greece and their relation to modern Wizarding Seers.
