Appearance: Blue and yellow light. Loud bang as it hits the object.

Description: Knocks the target backwards. Prominently used for duelling, but can be used to push heavy objects. It will break fragile objects.

First Year students learn this spell and Second Year students are expected to be proficient. It is taught either in charms or defences.

Etymology: The spell is derived from the English words "flip" and "end," simply meaning "to flip someone onto their end".

References: During the Battle of the Departments of Mysteries, Alastor Moody used this jinx to knock a Death Eater off the ground and hit a large rock before disappearing behind it. Severus Snape used this jinx on Harry Potter when escaping Hogwarts Castle alongside the Death Eaters.[9]
