Dirt Death and Lust

Finding their interests in Edinburgh are intertwined, even though Caitlin is a muggle, the date turns out to not be a disaster. Up until a vampire feeds from Caitlin as Philo is revealed to become her unwitting thrall, after a chance encounter during the 2017 expedition. (CW: blood; attraction & fetishizing of larger bodies)

Nate and Georgie meet up for a drink at a bar. Nate tells Georgie about getting with Hunter, and finding out Hunter’s last name (St. James). Nate knows that Hunter has a few screws loose, has done some deadly magic (probably to him? and hurt him?) but he can’t remember what has transpired. Despite the danger Nate decides he will continue to see her. Georgie’s bewildered at his friends decision.

Minister of Magic Solomon Carstairs attempts to convince Daily Prophet Editor Barnabas Cuffe from publishing news that CAWW spies have been operating in Britain. Solomon wants to keep panic at bay. Cuffe does not want to cede his influence.
Disharmony in Fugue
Healer Samuel Chávez is on emergency watch when he gets to meet Allura Bythesea, one of his favorite singers, in the most unexpected way. She's been treated for exhaustion as she comes out of a mental fugue, paranoid about spells and potions that have kept her in a suggestive state. Sam performs an assessment of Allura's condition as he tries to ease her fears.

We are the hollow men - 31 May 2018 - Nest of Crow
Virgil is invited to Cassie's childhood cabin in the woods of Penrith where she stayed at every summer. She has a little ladybug on her that lets Garrett follow them to the Cabin. Cassie and Virgil have breakfast/dance and then Cassie goes to start tea while Virgil starts to go through the books in the cabin. At this time Cassie has some memories of her childhood and recalls Gregory Pratchett was invited to the cabin. While Cassie is reminiscing about her childhood, Virgil finds out that her parents had stolen his work at the Death Chamber and surmises it was leaked to E&P. Garrett makes his appearance in the middle of Cassie and Virgils row about leaked information.

Following series of owls, Greg finally finds a usable address for Casey via his studies as an Spellcasting apprentice at Knareswick Phrontistery. To fulfill Martin’s request Greg reaches out to meet Casey under the premise of exploring free seminar options. Casey is waiting out lingering fire along his body after demonstrating the extent of flame freezing charms earlier, yet keeps on the appointment to humor Greg. Casey is more internally critical of Greg under his male identity, compared to how the two know of each other as ‘Hexy, Sophie’s roommate.’
Dead Calm Sea - 26 May 2018 - In the Blood
Mordecai's real opinions about working in the Ministry emerge when Lydia questions his feelings on finding out he may have been recommended as a candidate to represent the Ministry at the International Confederation of Wizards. He may have made a promise on not going too far should he ever stop pretending to be what he's not. Whether that promise can be kept remains to be seen.
Tread Lightly, It's my Territory - 18 May 2018 - Hot Marry Kill
Job Travers, an Enforcer of the Wildes, is scoping out Calaveras. Hunter realizes he works for the Wildes and assaults him after he insults her. Nate Briggs leaves the kitchen and comes across the scene. Hunter jokes she's going to kill Travers and Nate believes her. There's a moment of awkwardness before Nate leaves. Hunter lets Travers loose after taking his wand.
Running in Place - 18 May 2018 - Hot Marry Kill
Hunter meets with her boss, Salvador, to tell him about Job Travers visit to Calaveras. She intends on sending the wand back to the Pendragon Hotel. On her mind, she thinks about future consequences, and worries for Nate.

Knox Greyfriar approached Yavin Morgenthau, who he suspects has been poaching apprentices from Knareswick to work on Mysteries. The two discuss Greyfriar's possible appointment as British delegate of the ICW, as well as Morgenthau's suspicions of a politically turbulent future.
