Eleanor Walcott is the Muggle Prime Minister in 2011.

Edwin Glass met her on several occasions as Minister for Magic and found her less agreeable to deal with.

“The Prime Minister is unconvinced.” He explained, “Last we met, as you know I explained at length about dementors. Well, she has had some time to think, and the Health Secretary, awful man with an unfortunate surname from how she described, is fighting off accusations of a mental health crisis in Britain. More people are going to their doctor - healer, with the symptoms of dementor exposure. Considering Muggle following of scientific theory, telling them to go home, have a sweet cup of tea and a bar of chocolate is, according to the Prime Minister, making the government a laughing stock.”

He sighed, “she quoted statistics,” he gestured to the rather Muggle-looking computer-printed paperwork on the desk, “deaths… said if we had our man in custody - by whom she means Musgrave - why the devil weren’t we doing something about the dementors.”

The Prime Minister believed that the magical world could and should do a great deal more to deal with the dementors plaguing Britain. [1]
