The Falkins are a half-blood family, the name from the muggleborn father Frederick. The whole family is Hufflepuff through and through: outdoorsy, boisterous, family centered and hardworking...except for the awkward middle son, a Ravenclaw. The family lives in a magical cottage just outside of Shrewsbury, England called [http://absitomen.com/index.php?topic=9693.msg72667#msg72667 Steeple Underfoot], noted for having a roof that looks like a haystack with a chimney that belches (non-harmful) yellow smoke. The property of Steeple Underfoot has ancient muggle repelling charms on it, so on the other side of the fence the muggles see and empty field (even some Squibs have trouble finding it the first time around). The house is built from rather eclectic materials and has a permanent at-war doxie and pixie infestation that nest in the thatch roof. | |||
