Juliette Vaillancourt is the Potions Mistress and professor at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft in Wizardry. She is ambitious, detail-oriented, and chronically independent. At the same time, she comes from a very conservative, elitist family, and their traditions often inspire nostalgia and subtle snobbery.
Though born in Paris, Juliette was raised primarily in England, in a house full of proud, opinionated, ex-pat Purebloods. She is a Beauxbatons alumnus, having attended the French academy during the war in Britain.
Juliette is Pro-Snark, and a distant cousin of Hogwarts Headmistress Analiza Snark. She currently has a flirtatious, love-hate relationship with the Hogwarts librarian, Landis Morgan, but finds herself increasingly, heatedly attracted.
