- Name: Hector Harrison
- Age: 95 (deceased)
- Position: Retired at time of death. Formerly a board member of Hector Harrison's Unfortunate Urchin Grant Foundation.
Appearance:
Short Bio: Hector was muggleborn, and finished Hogwarts in 1931 in Gryffindor House. Upon graduation, he traveled Europe and eventually infiltrated the followers of Gellert Grindelwald. He ended up being personally involved with the events leading to the dark wizard's defeat and was praised as a war hero.
He founded HHUG in the 1950s and served on the board until the 1980s.
He lived out his last days in seclusion in Hogsmeade Village. In 2008, he donated his memories to the Memory Repository so that future generations would know the horrors of Grindelwald's crimes.
MISC
- Was a first year with Xiomara Hooch.
- She remembered him as, "Round-faced, dark-haired, funny eyebrows. Smiling." [1]
- Sometime during World War II, Harrison attended a lavish dinner with Gellert Grindelwald. [2]
- Upon his death in Jan 2010, Hooch hadn't spoken to him in 25 years. (1985)
- Appeared in a photograph from 1939 that showed a motley collection of Grindelwald's early supporters. The photograph was included in a book entitled For the Greater Good: The Liberation of Magical Europe. [3]
- According to the same book, Harrison apparently was acquainted with Count Otto Waldgraf III, the great-uncle of Jacoba and Sasha Schlagenweit.
