Violet Islington is the Editrix-in-Chief of Runwitch Magazine. She is a vampire.
While a Ravenclaw alumnus who favors rationality, Violet has become a somewhat cold and calculating character during the many decades of living with her affliction. Violet is an exacting boss who makes her staff works nights; her reputation is widely known in the wizarding world. In addition to being known as “difficult to work for,” Violet is also known for dabbling in politics and promoting vampire rights.
