Roland is a young, conflicted boy who lost his childhood when he was young: First to Fenrir Greyback and then to his own grandfather. He was trained from a young age to become much like his own father, Robert, by his ambitious grandfather, resulting in an incredible inferiority complex due to the standard he's supposed to live up to.
