Evie is a Ravenclaw Graduate (Class of 2011), fraternal twin of Elijah Grimlish, and self-confessed bibliophile with a gentle and empathetic disposition. Although she lives with some paranoia as a result of her unconventional childhood, she is fairly well-adjusted, if odd. Although somewhat quiet and certainly serious, she is unabashedly enthusiastic when it comes to the things that she is passionate about. She is artsy, loves pretty clothing and girly details, and is particularly fond of insects. She is slightly selective with her affections but, like a house cat, when she decides she likes and trusts you, she is likely to curl up in your lap and stay there. She is passionate about scholarship, though not always focused on the topics endorsed by her professors. Independent to a fault, she takes caring for herself and her mind very seriously, and has big, expansive dreams for herself when she's done with school.

Appearance

Like her brother, Evie is relatively average as far as figure (Though she is shorter and slimmer than Eli). As a fraternal twin, Evie doesn't look exactly like her twin. In fact, she looks more like the Grimlish's than he does, with dark hair and eyes. Her hair is quite long, about midback, and straight. She doesn't wear a lot of make up and rarely does her hair up (Though she is known to decorate it with jewel like pets). Clothing-wise, she wears simple but feminine clothes that tend to be considered 'artistic'. Her clothes are often covered with ink, paint or clay from her art projects. She also has many faint scars (and sometimes fresh scratches) because of her love of dangerous animals.

Biography

No one knows who Eli and Evie's real parents are or who was born first, and when. They were found on the steps of an orphanage in Canada in the middle of winter, with naught but an expensive brooch to their names. They grew up in the orphanage for a few years until they were around 5, when Eli decided he didn't like the way they were treated and escaped with his sister. They survived on the streets (Magic, however unconscious of it as they were, likely played a part) for around a year before a strange woman witnessed their little magic act and suddenly announced she was their mother. Then they were whisked off to England, where they were introduced to a strange family that they soon grew to love. Marietta told them that their father was a vampire and she was a witch, something that seemed difficult to swallow until their 11th birthday when their Hogwarts letters came. Sorted together into Ravenclaw, the twins have enjoyed the last several years there. Much quieter and more introverted than her brother, Evie is a gentle artist sort who spends her time painting or writing poetry. She is a member of the Art club, though she is so quiet during the meetings that people often don't realize she is there. She joined the Divination club at the behest of her brother.
