Gris

Gris is a very relaxed and chilled out, low energy person. Liking to tease others and to play tricks on them she finds it a bit of a miracle she passed school. Often she is able to found just sleeping somewhere random as she just sort of goes wherever she feels is the right direction to go before she feels the need to have a nap. Skilled with Transfiguration and Charms while not really vibing with anything written or non practical. She wants to become Head Auror as a stepping stone to Minister so she can have a nicer bed.

Physical Description

Gris, true to her name, has grey eyes, which also mixes with her grey hair, predominantly from her charming her own hair as she thinks it ties her appearance together and is a little funny. Other then that she has a rather plain appearance, taken after her cousin she has a slim and tomboyish body.

She tends to prefer large comfy clothing that she can spend long amounts of time in and work as a blanket for herself. Favouring hoodies twice the size of her the most due to this. Although she really likes summer dresses and uniforms, having loved the Hogwarts uniform, she does wish that the wizarding world had more style to it then giant robes and pointed hats.

To finish off her style, Gris has a couple of tattoos and piercings dotted around her body, the most notable of which being a tattoo of a chain around her neck that glows faintly when she is interested in something, a butterfly on her left shoulder, however it has been known to fly about her body. And a stud pierced into her tongue.

Personality Description

Gris tends to be very laid back, often not really caring about situations. This does have the habit of making her come across as lazy, which in cases can be true. Often napping or full on sleeping when there isn't something she should be doing or she finds entertaining. Some times she had been found outside a shops door from where she arrived too late to enter and without anything else to do. She just slept there until it opened.

To find ways of keeping herself entertained, she has a habit of playing jokes or attempting to prank others as a way to keep herself interested and give her a reason to being awake. Enjoying being able to push her limits of how far she can go without damaging a relationship or being cussed out. This is not to say however she is entirely lazy, while she may not be the most diligent worker, she does get it done and handed in on time. However this is often only done when she has left the work to the last minute, although its never terrible it may sometimes take some deciphering from her odd formatting.

History

Gris is a cousin to Akira, her mother being the sister to Akira’s mother. Having been born with grey eyes and her mother having recently started business in France decided to call her so. As Gris grew up she showed great interest in Quidditch and creatures.

When she started Hogwarts she gained admonishment and a reputation for how she proceeded in her work, like many she left work to the last minute, however she often really did this. Starting what should of been done during the week a few hours before class and handing in a mess. Something she has slightly improved on but only in that it may be done a few hours before hand in now.

What gained more admonishment was her habit of lazing around, while at the start she was always eager for lessons and friendly, as she got older it started to seem that she just couldn’t care, an untrue statement but easy to see as she constantly fell asleep in class or would try to constantly prank others. Once being given detention for over a month due to her stealing the underwear off another student and replacing it with leaves as they presented their homework to the class.

She gained more scorn as often she would be found about the school sleeping early in the morning from where she fell asleep that night, having never made it back to her dorm room. Several times being found at the breakfast table as the Great Hall first opens for Professors to enter.

To her it is still amazing she managed to pass through school, something that may amaze some of the Professors also. Especially when there was a rumour it took an Auror to decode and understand her NEWT’s. Although it didn’t surprise anyone that Transfiguration and Charms were her highest scoring, however probably not with Outstanding, followed by Exceeds in Defense Against the Dark Arts, Care of Magical Creatures and Herbology. While she barely got Acceptables in her other classes that required reading or Potions.

Now out of Hogwarts she spent a bit of time going on a Grand Tour, however she doesn’t seem to really learned much from doing it, while others might take it as an excuse to visit places and learn new things she took it as a chance to just go sightseeing. Although she will defend herself that visiting Disney was essential as its “The Most Magical Place on Earth”

Once back home she wasn’t entirely sure on what she could do, originally not convinced she really would be able to handle much. She figured Minister of Magic must be an easy job, and there was a slight tendency towards end of the 20th century for Aurors to get the job. She decided to try to make her somewhat meaningful by becoming an Auror. It had the chance to become Minister at the end of the role, it would let others be able to rest more easily or rest at all, and if she managed to survive, to save others lives then when she can retire she would truly deserve the rest.

Now in her first year she has kept her reputation for being seen as lazy and laid back. Although it isn’t exactly earned anymore, while she has a habit of still sleeping through most of the day when she doesn’t have something on or just for lazing around. It isn’t entirely of her own choice, with her now rightly fearful that her old working method was not up to scratch, she now aims to finish her work as soon as possible, almost always staying up the entire night and into the late morning to get it finished immediately. This has created the cycle of her barely being seen doing any work and to only rest or be half asleep all day. To then trying to get work done as soon as its given to impress and prove she isn’t lazy, to then her being exhausted the following and it repeats.
