Poppy Finnigan may physically be one of the smallest students in her year, but she makes up for her size with a larger than life personality and a dragon-charming smile. Her biggest ambition is to be well loved, and her personal quest is a search for kinship, for admiration, and for fame. She is hardly the most accomplished witch in her year, but what she lacks in booksmarts she makes up for in charisma. Born in the wake of tragedy as the chronically ill only child of divorced parents, Poppy is used to being treated like a princess. She gets jealous easily, but her first line of defense is always to kill with kindness, if possible. All she wants, at her core, is to be loved, and she's willing to go through great lengths to see it happen.
