During Voldemort's first war, a young Knox Greyfriar was coerced into helping the Death Eaters for a time as a healer. During this time, Knox ended up with 41 wands which were stolen by Death Eaters from those they harmed or killed.

Knox has held onto these wands since then, a shameful mark on his past he has not confronted.

They plan for Knox to offer his resignation, but have the Governors reject it. In the meantime, Minerva takes care of the wands and will take them to the museum.
