Philo is the middle child of a large magical family living close to the border with Wales. He is the first of his family not to be placed in Hufflepuff; instead he is a second year Ravenclaw. He enjoys brain teasers and taking things apart to see how they work. This inspired a gadget he is in the process of inventing he calls an Irregularity Camera.
Recently on AO
During a scavenging venture in the Room of Requirement before finals began, Philo was 'adopted' by a magic carpet that seems fit to make his life haywire, tagging along on the summer tour to Egypt where its origins are explained. Back home, he meets with Pax Wintergreen about the upcoming Gaming Club at school. He also works up his courage to talk to Obderedria Pienas a girl he has a crush on.
