A shy, softhearted kid who nevertheless appears more confident than he actually is, Micah straddles that lonely fence between innocent and worldly; as a survivor, he’s a sturdy, practical sort, but at the same time he’s withdrawn so far into himself that he can be a little oblivious at times, especially about his effect on others.
