A talented witch with a fiery temper, currently pursuing plans to become an Auror. Brought up in a wealthy, aristocratic half-blood household in Oxfordshire- Russian origins on her father's side, although she is primarily English. An heiress of the Almasy Clan and niece to Ira Almasy as well as Kazimir Almasy. Raine lost her twin sister in the Almasy Murder Case over the summer of 2008. Her upbringing keeps her cordial and polite to most, although increasingly less so with time. An extremely determined student with quick instincts and a fairly rational attitude. If necessary, she will go to great lengths to achieve her goals.

You may often find her with a ragtag group of friends who have theatrically called themselves The Nightshades. Raine is currently away from the seventh year at Hogwarts, travelling and training with various tutors across Europe. She has plans to return to Hogwarts in time to sit for her NEWT examinations.
