Pixie Stix is a chewable sugar stick that helps ward off minor headaches and dizziness. It is only a quick fix to help kids cope with minor sicknesses or illnesses, and gets some students through some rather disgusting class lessons. Rubeus Hagrid keeps these on hand because his class can get very messy, gross, and harmful at times, and it can sometimes help students enough to get them through a lesson. A student will most likely need the help of a healer when the effects of a stix wears off.
