Heliotrope is part merperson. She is slowly adapting to magical society, having little to no social skills nor wizarding society constructs. She spends every extra moment swimming. She is a second year Hufflepuff.

After a staring contest with the Legilimens sensitive Alvis Norling at the end of the '09 spring term, Heliotrope became motivated to embrace both her merfolk and human side, previously an unknown limitation. Over the summer she has been swimming around the continent to learn the more of the ways of merpeople, also meeting the likes of Deus Deres and Tynan MacFusty.
