A criminal liaison who arranges assassination contracts between criminals and clients. An inherently sadistic witch with extensive experience in the Moscow criminal underground and a reputation for efficiency. Ira is not known to the Ministry of Magic as a criminal, and lives openly as an aristocratic socialite. Her interests outside of illegal activity extends to the performing arts and charitable fundraising. She is related to Raine Almasy and is the elder half-sister to the Russian Ambassador to the British Embassy, Kazimir Almasy - both who join her has key members of the Almasy Clan. Ira retains the services of several witches and wizards, including her personal assistant Jebediah Layton and her contact in the Wizengamot, Artemis Childs.
Ira Almasy is one of the central figures backing the Werewolf Games of 2010. She is also the owner and landlord of an upperclass resident's building in Knightsbridge, House of Atreus, where her private offices may be found.
