Ruzena is a Veela who was born and raised in the Czech Republic. She is the mother of Audrey Hughes, Flynn Hughes, and Elysia Hughes as well as the wife of Ianto Hughes. When she got married, she moved to London with her husband and got a job with the ministry as an ambassador for human-veela relations. Her native language is Czech, though she also speaks English, Russian, Ukranian, and Spanish. She is currently working on French. She finds Germanic languages to be much more difficult to learn than Slavic ones.
