Tobias Hughes Jr, commonly known as Toby, is the 10 year old son of Archibald Hughes and Maureen Dempsey. He took his parents divorce quite hard and like many children, often feels it is his fault. Because of this, he tries hard to be mature and a good son. He loves his father and idolizes him, much to Archie embarrassment and worry. Toby has quickly become close to his cousin Linus and enjoys spending time at his house when he is home on break. He is especially looking forward to going to Hogwarts and hopes to be in Gryffindor, though Archie fears he will land a spot in Hufflepuff.
Toby is a doughy and unathletic boy who isn't the brightest crayon in the box, but extremely loyal, creative and honest to a fault. He does his best to be a good son and big brother, often causing him to get manipulated by his little sister in the process.
