Zara Othman is the charming and friendly coven leader of Sunken Scoundrels in Manchester, UK. She lived a colourful life knocking about the country - first as a travelling potioneer, in her human years, and then as a vagabond vampire.
In 1946 she and her travelling coven decided to settle down in the abandoned underground tunnels beneath Manchester. Their speakeasy business began not long after. Zara fixes a mean cocktail.
She is especially close with her right hand vampire, Josef Plath.
