Candlestick Row

Candlestick Row is a wizarding area in the City of Edinburgh, sharing a name with is much narrower and shorter muggle equivalent.

It can be accessed by rubbing the nose of Greyfriar Bobby (the statue of a famous and loyal dog) and uttering a watchword, before going through a set of large iron double-doors unseen by muggle eyes.

Through the doors is Candlestick Row. A wide, cobbled street of shops and cafes and smaller residential lanes branching off. At the very end of Candlestick Row is Melrose Cemetery: a pretty bit of greenery that is used as a park as it has been a long time since anyone was buried there.
