The Lazy Kelpie

The Lazy Kelpie is a pub located with the coastal village of Crovie, Scotland. Operated by "Pa" Quigley and home of Deus Deres, the pub is a dark and shady place frequented by half breeds, criminals, and dark creatures such as Hags and Werewolves. Though shabby there are some top notch enchantments about the place, including a Vanishing Door/portkey to Knockturn and Anti-Apparition Jinxes.

Under the rooms available to rent (not that you'd want to) are underwater tunnels that connect to the coast, used for smuggling and 'Selkie bride' arrangements for those interested in Merpeople.

Heliotrope LeJean once stayed (and somehow survived) at the Kelpie while swimming home to Loch Lomond. She was under the impression that a literal lazy kelpie was kept in the basement. [1]
