Appearance: A jet of dark blue light, composed of countless smaller streaks of lighter blue magic, surges forward with the force of a battering ram. It emits a shrieking sound for the entire duration.
Description: A jet of dark blue light erupts from the wand that expands until it touches a surface. The smaller streaks of magic slash across surfaces again and again, creating a constant barrage of damage that keeps building up. Due to the speed, these streaks leave long, jagged gashes that emit a red-hot glow. The longer the spell lasts, the deeper the cuts will be. . The longer the spell lasts, the deeper the cuts get. The concentration of streaks depends on the size of the area—larger areas spread them out, while smaller areas concentrate them.
Damage is based on duration of exposure:
10–15 seconds: Can cut through soft surfaces such as skin, flesh, vegetation, paper, and cloth. (Survivable depending on where you are hit)
15–30 seconds: Slices through flesh and bone, as well as materials like wood, soft metals and soft stone.
30–45 seconds: Capable of cutting through brick, metals and harder stone.
45+ seconds: Begins to break through magical shields, depending on their size, the strength of the spell, and the caster’s power.
