Canterbury Estate
The Canterbury Estate is an old, gothic manor house on the wix side of Mould-on-the-Wold 
at 693 Hightail Street. It is the home of Argyle Canterbury when the Wizengamot is in session, although he has vacation holdings elsewhere. Argyle began his career as an Auror. He's had numerous wives and children, as such the estate has had various eras of decor and purpose of the rooms. The assembled collection of what remains gives it a museum-like character.

1993 to Present
Argyle was 73 when Ligeia was born, his youngest daughter. Thankfully he didn't go onto have anymore children into his 80s and 90s.
Ligeia was born with albinism, making her photosensitive and very much the indoor mouse or night owl (there's a food chain joke there somewhere) compared to the glamorous, fashion loving, travel obsessed Polka-Dot who took more after their mother Hannah. Polka-Dot was known for parading around the house in various states of undress as she worked on her model strut. The two sisters couldn't be anymore different.
Seeing her father as a 'grandfather' who worked late most days, Ligeia was incredibly dotted (spoilt) to make up for this. Argyle was also rather senile at this age and Ligeia took after his more eccentric habits (thankfully not matters of romance), especially crossbow hunting. Her own tastes trended toward the macabre and gothic romances. Despite Mould-on-the-Wold having a muggle population, Ligeia was incredibly isolated from them and further buffered by antiquated views on muggles. Once she read Edgar Allen Poe and Nathanial Hawthorne she didn't feel the need to go further.
Whenever they weren't on a family trip, Ligeia spent most of her non-Hogwarts life within the Canterbury estate. As such, she has had the most impact on the increasingly creepy, kooky, mysterious and spooky aspects of manor during this era. After Polka-Dot left for a fashion career in Paris, Ligeia promised to leave her room untouched.

Notable Features
A number of the manor's amenities are magical, if not mostly antiquated. The wine cellar in the basement is guarded by a large tangle of Devil's Snare. The master bathroom, grander than the others dotting the house, have a few enchanted waters on tap. Baths can be enhanced by Rosewater Bubbles, Lavender Lake or *ahem* Salacious Salts.
The fireplace is on the Floo Network but the doorbell is noted for rotating through a series of screaming shrieks throughout the months, often with unusual results. Examples include 'Mandrake Cry' that caused people to collapse unconscious at the front door, while 'Augurey Call' sometimes summoned a miniature rainstorm.
The following ground floor layout was used when Ligeia hosted a Class Reunion on Friday the 13th of April, 2018.
