Appearance: A streaky, purple spell that pierces the chest right over the heart.

Description: This spell instantly thickens and slows the muscles of the heart to cause severe chest pain and difficulty breathing. As the heart is directly targeted, abnormal heart rhythms and the strain of beating can make this fatal in most cases.

To muggle doctors, it would appear to be like the condition hypertrophic cardiomyopathy, which is unexplained thickening of heart muscle that causes sudden death in otherwise healthy appearing individuals who have experienced few or no symptoms before it becomes fatal.

A healer would be able to see the thickening is noticeably different than a muggle doctor's interpretation.
