Appearance: Dicto Initium - Small yellow ball of light spirals around the quill from the nib to feather tip. Dicto Compleo - Nothing, quill falls back down.
Description: Temporarily enchants any quill to write down anything being said between the two incantations. Deactivates after one minute of inactivity or silence even if Dicto Compleo has not been invoked.
How to use: Dicto Initium > dictate what needs to be written down > Dicto Compleo
Dicto Initium must be accompanied by a wand movement - the wand must draw a 3 while being pointed at the quill starting from the bottom, and at the top the wand must be flicked straight up into the air once reaching the end point of the number.

The spell is not as advanced as a proper Verbatis Quill would be, nor can it handle more than one person speaking. Its restrictions prevent it from being used as anything other than a quick way to dictate notes without a special quill.
