| Summary: | At the secret magical library below the British Museum, Bagnold and Aileen find evidence of a whole sheet of Grimshaw's glyphs from the 1600s. Bagnold also tells Aileen that he had spotted Lorelei Hunt's name in the Grimshaw's ledger. More than that, they discover that girls are being murdered at the shop every 28 years, going as far back as 1900. The next murder is set to happen in 2012. Concerned, they decide to take a trip soon to the Godric's Hollow church, where one of the victims was buried (Clementine Calvares) and where Faustina Grimshaw had made a donation in 1648. | ||
| Quote: | The machine had printed what looked to be an entire page written in strange, bonelike-looking runes, similar to the symbol that he'd seen at Grimshaw Tailoring. At the bottom of the parchment on the left side, offset from the rest of the text and written in an archaic-looking hand that he could only barely make out, was a signature in English: J.F. Grimshaw.
