Godric's Hollow
Godric's Hollow is a village in North Devon near or in Exmoor. Though many notable magical families have lived here there is still a muggle population, so all wizarding artifacts and important monuments must be hidden, such as the tribute to the Potters.
The land is the original birthplace of Godric Gryffindor an is a peaceful settlement in terms of wizard and muggle habitation after the installation of the Statute of Secrecy. Regardless, the village is the site of many tragedies and historical events in the wizarding world. Families that have lived here include the Peverells, Dumbledores and Potters, along with wizarding historian Bathilda Bagshot.
Notable monuments include the ruined home of the Potters where Voldemort was unable to kill Harry and the statue in honor of James and Lily's sacrifice. Both are visible only to magic kind. Many notable wizards are also buried in the graveyard by the church.
