Parker is a prolific poet and father of four. He dropped out of Hogwarts after his OWLs because he was quite bad at magic and felt his magical education was finished. He is married to Mercury Puddifoot, his Hogwarts sweetheart, but had a short relationship with a veela that resulted in his first child before settling down.

The subjects of his poems always revolve around love. He loves poetry so much that he insisted on naming each of his children a poetic term, while sticking to the family tradition of using only 'P' names.
