The Events Unfold

Two goblins from Gringotts Bank, accompanied by Cursebreaker Raizel Cohen, demand an appointment with newly elected Minister of Magic Persepolis Zephyr. They demand that the Goblet of Fire be returned to rightful goblin custody or else all Ministry funds in Gringotts will be frozen.

First thing in the morning, Minister Zephyr convenes an important council consisting of Department Heads, high-ranking Ministry, Aurors and experts on Goblins. She poses to them the goblins' ultimatum, and they discuss their options. There is no accord.

Zephyr meets with Cursebreaker Raizel Cohen to try and understand why the goblins of Gringotts are suddenly so interested in the Goblet of Fire which came out of a decades-long retirement for the TetraWizard Tournament.

It seems the Ministry has managed to stave off the wratch of Gringotts for now, but not for much longer. In their discussion, Zephyr comes to the conclusion that Gringotts must want the Goblet of Fire because of it's mysterious magical properties, that even the Ministry isn't aware of fully.

At the end of the meeting, Zephyr has Cohen Obliviated by Mihai Zamperia.

Zephyr receives a lengthy document of demands from the goblins and summons Johann Storm to assist with the translation, and Gabrielle Murray for advice on discovering one of the many demands is to reclaim all wizarding currency as it is goblin made.
