Flirtatious, outgoing and adventurous, sometimes to the point of recklessness, Kale Ferris, a Hufflepuff alumni and Healer-in-training, is his sister [[Kia Ferris]]'s polar opposite. After his mothers death, he begin to go down a dark path that involved drugs and partying. It wasn't until one evening a few years back, when out with his best mate, that Kale really got a reality check. It was a full moon and the pair had been drinking and taking narcotic potions heavily, and they unwittingly stumbled into the path of a waiting werewolf named [[Vincent Carrow]]. Carrow killed his friend in front of him and was going to turn Kale, but was chased away at the last possible second. Kale survived the attack, barely, and while he healed up in St. Mungoes, he decided that life was too important to waste. Cleaning himself up, he got off drugs and started a much cleaner lifestyle, even going as far as to take a job as a healer in St. Mungoes under the man who saved him, [[Jason Marren]], if only to remind him of how lucky he was. Now he spends his time trying to better himself and learn to forgive the creature that nearly killed him, which he definitely will have to deal with now that a drunken fling blessed him with a pair of twins with the werewolf [[Pandora Puddifoot]].
