Capable, quiet and aloof, Kia Ferris is a former Slytherin and member of the Werewolf Capture Unit. She is the daughter of a magizoologist, Sean Ferris, and former Auror who died in the line of duty, Celestine Ferris (Nee St. Murfordt), and elder sister of a healer, Kale Ferris. She was a black sheep in a family of Hufflepuffs, her cold exterior and ambitious nature pushing her into Slytherin where she was teased ruthlessly for her appearence and dirtied blood. She graduated and went on to better herself, working for her father at his Magizoological ranch/clinic. However, when her brother was attacked by the werewolf Vincent Carrow, Kia swore to avenge him and quit her job at the clinic to join the WCU, where she enjoys a love/hate relationship with her boss Kurby Bagnold. Recently, she met and fell for a gentle but mysterious arithmancer named Eamonn Mullen.

When a brutal attack by a rogue werewolf (That was, unbeknownst to Kia, Vincent Carrow himself) breaks up an otherwise routine mission, Kia witnessed the death of two new team mates caught in the wolfs claws. This, along with a shattered leg she endured in the attack, has left her with PTSD and some paid time off to get her head together. She is also learning to deal with her budding romance with Eamonn, who she is falling deeper in love with but still uncertain about.

Romantic History
Thanks to being both aloof and gawky as a teen, Kia has never had a boyfriend before. Now that she has gotten fit, she deals with a lot of unwanted male attention from guys she finds repulsive. She has a lot of commitment and abandonment issues thanks to events in her life and she has high standards that most men won't bother to try and fill. With that being said, enter Eamonn Mullen. Kia met Eamonn purely by accident. Both of them were in Signature, her for a rare clubbing experience and he to, of all things, study. Kia was cornered by a man she had no interest in and in an attempt to escape, she used a rather sitcom-y move of kissing Eamonn to hide her face from her stalker. Once they pulled apart, after a kiss that lasted a bit longer then necessary, the two of them found themselves instantly attracted. She finds Eamonn both gentle and mysterious, and undeniably sexy. As he is her first foray into romance, she has come to trust him slowly. Despite this, the two have recently engaged in their first sexual experience and Kia is finding herself growing more and more enamored with him afterwards, a dilemma for a lone wolf like her.
