Dueling Club was founded in 1992 by Gilderoy Lockhart. Although it was discontinued in 1993, it was restarted in 1996 and has enjoyed popularity among the student body since. It aims to help students improve their dueling skills, and is usually run by a club president chosen from the student body, although occasionally teachers run or assist in meetings.
Current Details (2012-2013)
This year, each house will have a captain and the houses will compete against each other. An solo tournament will be held at the end of term. The club will meet every second and fourth Sunday from 3-5pm. Captains are chosen at the first duelling club meeting.
