Felinus Woodward is a former Caretaker of Hogwarts Castle. Once an arrogant transfiguration expert, Felinus attempted to develop a technique that would allow animagi to speak human language in their animal forms. He technically succeeded, but found himself trapped as a lion with no way to turn back. He served as the Hogwarts Caretaker in the hope that the school's transfiguration experts will one day be able to return him to his human form.
