Johann Storm is found on Level 5 by Kadyn Hamilton after a Sleeping Potion Overdose. He takes him straight to St Mungo's hospital and abandons him in the reception. Once brought to the plant an potion poisoning floor, Joy Torret revives Johann and is joined by Arcturus Hollingbury who question him on the circumstances. Given the answers, Joy admits Johann as a patient.

After reminders from his Department Head and cousin, Gabrielle Murray, Johann Storm keeps a follow-up appointment at St Mungo's with Arcturus Hollingbury. Unfortunately blood doesn't lie, and Hollingbury's quiet persistence results in Johann finally being a little more honest about his sleeping potion addiction. In return, Arcturus suggests a less conventional treatment - the pub and good old fashioned talking.

Elixa Mordent gets back home to Diagon Alley and thinks she hears Arcturus Hollingbury taking a shower. As she has a terrific crush on her housemate, she lies in wait to see if she might glimpse him semi-clothed, as he's very modest. To her horror she is greeted by Johann Storm who has a spare key and is there to spend a little time with Arcturus, and worse still, he's used her towel.

Elixa tells Arcturus, her housemate, that she'll probably be out all night. Soon after she leaves, Johann Storm turns up, black and blue from a fight. Arcturus Hollingbury is quick to patch him up, and the two spend a somewhat typical Friday night together sharing the same space quietly until Johann can stand it no more and claims Arc's attention.

Expecting Arcturus to be on a night shift, Elixa Mordent throws a house party. Arcturus comes home unexpectedly to find their Diagon Alley flat full of people which is hell for the quiet healer.

Johann Storm feels terrible and the two of them retire to Stuart Road for an evening instead. They in turn are interrupted by Arc's parents getting home, so Johann hides in Arc's old wardrobe, and eventually falls asleep.

In the morning, Arcturus introduces Johann to his parents over Sunday morning breakfast, and they go together to visit Alethea Hollingbury's grave.

Elixa Mordent demands Johann Storm keep her company at Diagon Alley because she is shaken up from being held at wandpoint in the hospital apothecary. Eventually she falls asleep on top of him on the sofa. Arcturus Hollingbury comes home a little before dawn to find them.

Strangely there are no photos of Arcturus amongst them and she teases him for being camera-shy. In reality, Johann Storm has taken them with him on his run to Slandermouth.
